Notarial fees

The costs payable at the notary consist of several elements. We calculate the exact amount before the act – free of charge.

What do the costs consist of?

Depending on the type of act performed by the notary, the following charges may be payable:

  • notarial fee (taksa notarialna) – the notary’s remuneration,
  • value added tax (VAT) – 23% of the notarial fee,
  • civil law transactions tax (PCC) – e.g. on the sale of real property,
  • inheritance and gift tax – where no exemption applies,
  • court fees – for entries in the land and mortgage register.

The notary collects taxes and court fees as the remitter and transfers them to the tax office and the court. The cost of preparing and performing an act depends on many factors – not only the value of its subject matter, but also the length of the document and the complexity of the matter.

For an accurate calculation of costs, please contact the office – in person, by telephone or by e-mail.

Maximum fee rates

The notarial fee is determined individually at the office. It may not exceed the maximum rates set by the Regulation of the Minister of Justice. The table of maximum fees for acts of a specified value – such as a sale agreement – is on the property sale page.

Payment methods

Charges can be paid in cash at the office or by bank transfer to the office’s bank account:

ING Bank Śląski S.A.

Please state your full name and the type of notarial act in the transfer reference.
